Anita Gupta is the CRO & Co-Founder of KiwiTech, where she leads revenue, partnerships, and market expansion across a global innovation ecosystem that has supported more than 3,000 startups. A Forbes 50 Over 50 (Entrepreneurs, 2022) honoree and recognized among the Power Women of DC Tech (2023), she has built and scaled technology-driven businesses at the intersection of product, capital, and growth. Anita represents a generation of women leaders shaping the innovation economy through conviction, resilience, and sustained impact.

Before KiwiTech, Anita co-founded Aptara as part of a founding team that included her siblings and Gurvinder Batra, building it into a global digital publishing company with over 5,000 employees before its $144 million acquisition. During this time, she led key business functions across operations, sales, and growth. She later co-founded KiwiTech, shaping it into a platform that works alongside founders to build, fund, and scale companies, with a focus on AI and emerging technologies.

Global Innovation & Investor Ecosystem

Anita is an active presence across global innovation and investor ecosystems, engaging in forums connected to Davos, CES, Cannes Film Festival and others. She has worked with founder-driven platforms such as Techstars and been a speaker at DC Startup & Tech Week. She works closely with founders, investors, and operators shaping the next generation of companies.

Her involvement spans:

Speaking on investor readiness, fundraising, and venture growth
Evaluating startups as a judge and jury member across global platforms
Hosting curated founder–investor engagements and private ecosystem forums
Contributing to U.S. and global venture and startup networks

AI, Growth, and Founder Mentorship

Anita works closely with founders, operators, and leadership teams as an AI growth advisor, aligning product, positioning, and go-to-market strategy to drive measurable outcomes. Her focus is on embedding AI into the core of how businesses acquire customers, scale revenue, and operate more efficiently. Her work spans the growth lifecycle, from market entry and GTM strategy to funnel optimization, data-led decision-making, and AI integration across marketing, sales, and operations. She partners with teams to identify high-impact opportunities, streamline execution, and build systems that enable consistent, scalable growth.

Education Background

Bachelors, Computer Science , 1984 – 1986

Anita earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Marietta College, where her academic excellence was recognized with both the prestigious Harrington Prize and the Stevenson Prize. Her subsequent outstanding entrepreneurial achievements later earned her a featured profile in the college's alumni magazine, Trailblazer.

Masters, Public Policy , 1989 – 1991

Anita completed her Master in Public Policy from The Kennedy School at Harvard University. She achieved this advanced degree as a recipient of the prestigious Sloan Fellowship, highlighting her foundational leadership capabilities and analytical approach to large-scale problem solving.
